Military OneSource is a comprehensive military mental health assistance program. Soldiers can access help through online articles or request pamphlets, books, videos and cassette tapes through the mail. Some branches of the service have a hotline you can call to recieve immediate help. The numbers are below:

The Department of Veterans Affairs offers the Vet Centers Programs, which hosts more than 207 community-based clinics in all 50 states to provide support to those veterans who need help readjusting to life after combat. The Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) offers a comprehensive site on post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) called the VVA’s guide on PTSD that provides information on the nature of PTSD, how to get help and how to get the most out of VA benefits.
