You will also need to bring the following documents with you for in-processing:

- Driver's license
- Direct deposit form
- Notarized copies of marriage certificates, divorce decrees or separation orders
- Birth certificates for any children you have under 18
- The name, Social Security number and military address of your spouse if you are married to another servicemember.
- Documentation of any ROTC experience
- College transcripts
- Copies of your basic training orders
-
Study Beforehand
Recruiters give new enlistees material that they are expected to learn during basic training. Do yourself a favor and study this material before basic training begins. Knowing your branch's history, how to make your bed with hospital corners or practicing how to iron your creases will save you time and stress. Tutorials.com has a step-by-step diagram of how to make a bed with hospital corners
