Military Pay

Military pay is based upon your rank and years of service. Below are links to the 2008 monthly pay charts. In addition to monthly pay, active duty servicemembers often receive extra benefits and allowances, such as a basic allowance for subsistence and a basic allowance for housing. The military also has a retirement plan for servicemembers with at least 20 years of service.
