Navy Tuition Assistance
Navy Tuition Assistance (TA) pays up to $250 for each credit hour taken by active duty sailors. Tuition assistance may be used for classroom, distance-learning and independent-study courses that apply toward a post-secondary degree or certification program eligible.

Drawbacks

Tuition Assistance will only cover 12 semester credit hours or 18 quarter credit hours each fiscal year.

Tuition Assistance does not cover textbooks

Tuition Assistance does not cover courses you previously took with Tuition Assistance funds.

If you fail, withdraw from or receive an incomplete in a course that you received TA for, you must reimburse the Navy.

Enroll on time. TA will not give up-front funding if your school's drop, add or late registration period has passed.
