Spouse Tuition Aid Program
The Spouse Tuition Aid Program (STAP) awards spouses of Marines who are stationed overseas up to:

$1,500 for a vocational certificate or undergraduate courses each academic year.
Or

$1,750 for graduate courses each academic year.
Highlights

For undergraduate students, get up to $300 each term, up to $1,500 each academic year.

For graduate students, get up to $350 each term, up to $1,750 each academic year.

Spouses do not need to be enrolled full time to be eligible.

The program will pay up to half of a spouse's tuition.
Eligibility

They must be living with their Marine spouse overseas.

They must be enrolled in an on-base educational program.
Awards are based on financial need.

To apply, contact the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS) office nearest your base. Offices are located in:
