Marine Corps College Fund

After finishing 48 months of active duty service, you may be eligible for up to $50,000 in educational assistance through the Marine Corps College Fund (MCCF). You can use the funds after you separate from the service or during your off-duty time if you remain in the Marines.

The fund was developed to attract highly qualified applicants who possess high Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) scores and who want to continue their education after completing 48 months of service. MCCF works in combination with MGIB-AD benefits to cover most, if not all, of your educational expenses. If you are elgible, VAJoe.com can help you find schools where you can use MCCF.

Eligibility

You must meet four requirements to be eligible for the MCCF:

  1. No Prior Service

    Have no prior service record.

  2. Regular Applicant

    Be a regular applicant, which is a Marine applicant who has applied for enlisted status.

  3. No Waiver

    Have no drug or moral waiver above the recommended standard (RS) level.

  4. 48 Months Active Duty

    Complete 48 months of active duty service.
