eArmyU
The eArmyU program allows soldiers to earn a college degree by taking courses online. Soldiers can use their Tuition Assistance (TA) to enroll in online courses. By taking courses online, soldiers have the flexibility to study and take tests anytime, anywhere. Two programs are offered, and VAJoe.com can help you find schools where you can use Army educational benefits:
Program 1: eCourse

Available to all soldiers who have a GoArmyEd account.

Over 2,000 courses are offered.

Soldiers may use Tuition Assistance (TA) toward an eCourse if the course is part of the soldier’s degree plan.

Soldiers must have a computer or access to a computer.
- To enroll in an eArmyU class, use the “Request TA and Enroll in Course” link on GoArmyEd and look for classes that are taught in the “eArmyU” delivery mode. You must log in at GoArmyEd to access this form.
Program 2: Technology Package

Allows soldiers to use Tuition Assistance toward the cost of a laptop computer.

Soldiers must agree to complete 12 semester hours of eArmyU courses within three years.
