The Weekly Claw 9-9-08

In the beginning, there was the rant. Then the rant became a blog. Then the blog became multiple blogs and comments all over the web. Then some sick mind said, “Let’s make him a weekly columnist.” Now, y’all are reading my lunacy on a weekly basis. If I could only find a way to start getting paid for this nonsense…..

“About to turn 30, a newly slimmed down Jennifer Love Hewitt says she wishes she stayed naked from age 12 until 28.” The Crawfish would definitely have wanted to be there for the last decade of that time!
Yep, she’s a hottie

The House Republicans who stayed behind during Red Nanny P-Lousy’s mandatory vacation have declared at least a partial victory in their protests to get drilling started. They say that it is now much more likely that opening up the OCS and ANWR will at least be voted on. Unfortunately, the leftists will load those bills down with pork, amendments, earmarks, and enough other Bravo Sierra that the bills will not be worth voting for. Her Majesty’s spokesmetrosexual said, “The only thing this Republican sideshow accomplished was to show the lengths to which the Conference will go to demonstrate their loyalty to Big Oil,” Big Oil? Methinks the GOP is on the side of THE PEOPLE!
Big Oil or The People, who do Dims oppose?

Obama and his wife have their own “public service” force, called Public Allies. It promises one year positions with community leadership for young adults. It also pays them a monthly stipend, health care, child care, and college scholarship money. It is also just another radical leftist organization run in accordance with the directives of Saul “The Red” Alinsky. It trains these young Americans in radical protest tactics. The Obamas discourage work in the private sector. “Don’t go into corporate America,” Michelle has exhorted youth. “Work for the community. Be social workers.” Shun the “money culture,” Barack added. “Individual salvation depends on collective salvation.” Slick Willie’s AmeriCorps (in other words, we the taxpayers) already pays half of this organization’s budget. The Messiah wants to have the gummint pay ALL of it and expand it into a $500 BILLION national program. Here’s the really dangerous quote…”We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded (as the military)”- Barack Obama.
Obama’s Radical Army, The New Brown Shirts

The Marxists convention in Denver included a lot of rhetoric that harkens back to Ronaldus Maximus and iron Lady Maggie Thatcher, but what they are actually proposing is turning America into what England was before Lady Thatcher took charge. What they are proposing would wreck our economy and national morale, like the Labour Party did to England in the 70s. The Wall Street Journal has a good comparison.
The Anti-Thatchers

Senator Obama is trying to say that he has executive experience. First he claimed it for the job of running his own campaign, until it was pointed out that running the campaign is the job of the highly paid campaign manager. Well, the Chicago Sun-Times has uncovered a project that The One was actually in charge of, and how it completely fizzled after spending over $100,000 of Illinois taxpayer money.
What does a gazebo cost?

MSNBC noticed that they were getting absolutely slammed for the obviousness of their extreme left wing coverage of politics, especially during the conventions. They also noted that their ratings royally sucked. As a result, they fired Chris “Obama sends a tingle down my leg” Matthews and Keith “I also suck as a sportscaster” Olbermann from their political coverage. What was their first clue that their coverage was simply a free commercial for the Obama Campaign?
We’re not leftists, we swear!

One side says it will negotiate with our foes without pre-conditions. On the other hand, there is someone involved in this race who has shown negotiating skills with domestic and foreign entities, and has garnered the respect of them, while keeping the good of the American people as the prime directive.
Barracudas usually win their negotiations

The best option for now may be to just let the current drilling moratorium expire on September 30. The Senate can block any sham Democrat energy legislation with the threat of a filibuster. Do they have the will to do that? We must hope so. It’s their best and possibly their most publicity enhancing tactic. It may stem the tide of Democrat gains in the November election.
