Open Call to Presidential Candidates
What started as a simple, nonscientific way to help our visitors determine which candidates are most closely matched with them on issues has exploded into a nationwide phenomenon. In less than a month, nearly 1 million people have taken the Candidate Calculator, and it has attracted significant media exposure, including coverage on CNN’s The Situation Room, the Glenn Beck Program and countless high profile bloggers. Glenn Beck even had presidential candidate Mike Huckabee go through the calculator to find his match.
VAJoe has done as much as possible to make the calculator as accurate as possible, but can only do so much since the candidates did not directly supply us with responses. In an effort to help make the calculator more accurate, VAJoe is asking all candidates included in the calculator to answer the questions according to their exact position on each topic. In addition, VAJoe will give candidates who respond a dedicated page on the site where they can discuss the issues that they believe are most important and include additional content. VAJoe will then promote those pages to its visitors. VAJoe would also be interested to hear if any of the candidates would like to see additional topics in the calculator.
This is an open call to all presidential candidates to contact VAJoe, to let us know your positions on the issues and to elaborate on those positions on a dedicated page. Then our visitors can learn more about you and why you deserve to serve the country as president. Please contact VAJoe at lane@vajoe.com. It is unlikely many candidates will respond; many avoid declaring their stances on controversial issues. But any who do respond, such as Mike Huckabee, should be admired for putting themselves out there.
Talk Shows and Political Blogs
Because the election is a national debate that includes more than just the candidates, VAJoe also is inviting national talk show hosts and prominent political bloggers to use the calculator. VAJoe will post their results along with those of the candidates and link back to their blogs or websites. People keep asking me how to vote next year. Okay, here are some observations to consider:
1. Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s and unto God the things that are God’s. This means a lot of different things to people who without accuracy, apply it to their human viewpoint thinking so it lines up neatly with their own personal private view of God and what they should do or what they want to do. However, lets examine this statement in the light of Biblical Principles.
a. Render to God, is following His mandates and using Biblically accurate thinking: i.e. “Our thoughts are not His thoughts and our ways are not His ways”; but, we ARE commanded to have the mind of Christ who had God’s thoughts. This means we are to think NOT with human perspective, but with Divine viewpoint and perspective – BIBLICAL PRINCIPLE. So how does this line up with voting and what BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES apply ?
i. God has set up two (2) controls:
1. Bible Doctrine and His viewpoint for believers;
2. and, Divine Establishment for believers and ALL the rest of humanity – unbelievers alike. Divine Establishment is ordered by God for ALL humanity to preserve humanity from self destruction. So what are the established divine rules ?
a. Freedom and Private Property. Life, liberty and property…..self freedom of development which yields freedom to choose in all things;
b. Freedom and the Family unit complete with systems of authority which breed freedom. Authority without freedom is tyranny; freedom without authority is anarchy;
c. The principle of MARRIAGE which sets up basic authority principles and fosters respect of others;
d. Freedom through Nationalism: provides a strong military (freedom comes from military victory); provides atmosphere for self development; provides safety for the citizens (Law Enforcement within, military without); Civil Liberty with restraint under authority (teachers, Police, Courts, coaches, the Rule of Law); The Constitution of the United States is an example - promotes free enterprise.
b. The Bible is ANTI-INTERNATIONALISM to the core.
i. A vote for an internationalist is contrary to Divine Mandate
1. Internationalization of North America is against Biblical viewpoint and against the mandates of God.
2. Illegal immigration is destructive of our National Entity.
3. Internationalism is an attack on the SOVEREIGNTY of The UNITED STATES.
4. Government being “in bed” with corporate America and controlled by the large corporations to the elimination of the middle class is NOT biblical – e.g. certain Republicans.
c. The Bible is ANTI-SOCIALISM to the core.
i. A vote for a socialist is ANTI-BIBLICAL and against God’s Plan.
1. A candidate who desires redistribution of wealth – is against the Bible. E.g. the liberally stolen Democrat Party.
2. A candidate who seeks big Government care of the citizens, decreasing self actualization, self development, self responsibility, the removal of the right to CHOSE what is best for the citizen; examples – united health care; taxing rich and giving to poor; replacing the responsibility of private charity with government sponsored programs at tax payer expense; or, taxing corporations and cigarettes to acquire revenue. All of these stifle free enterprise and are against the Biblical Principles above.
3. A candidate who seeks to DISARM the American public and attack the right for the individual citizen to keep and bear arms – is against the Bible. E.g. the agenda of today’s liberal Democrat.
4. A candidate who seeks to enforce the fairness doctrine to silence free speech of certain conservative talk show hosts is thereby against the Biblical Principles above. E.g. the socialist controlled Democrat Party.
5. Any platform that aspires to make the individual responsible for another different individual by force of law or taxation is against the Biblical Views. E.g. the current controlled Democrat Party agenda.
6. Any vote for a Party or candidate which is against the military and the protection of our Nation is against the Divine View.
7. Any who are anti-Semitic (against Israel and her strivings of freedom) are against God’s Plan.
d. The Bible is ANTI-COSMIC SYSTEM to the core.
i. A vote for a candidate or Party which promotes laws which endanger FREE Choice to believe or reject secularism in the public sector, schools, Universities, or other organizations; which attempt by force or by law to restrict information from other sources – is an ANTI-Biblical vote. e.g. forcing the acceptance, as valid, the theory of evolution without any reference or allowance for creationism; Making laws to regulate matters which should be between the Doctor and Patient – e.g. abortion, stem cell research, etc. Making laws from moral or social issues and forcing those laws on the entire public citizenry is anti-Biblical and ANTI-God’s Plan.
e. The Biblical Principles of freedom are ANTI-BIG GOVERNMENT to the core.
i. Forcing the will of the FEW through law, on the MANY, is ANTI-Biblical – e.g. socialism. The government is of the people, by the people, and for the people.
ii. The Government is WE The PEOPLE, not the servants who we elect to office. Congress has abdicated its reliance on the people and is full of self-serving individuals with agendas. The representatives are not interested in the Constitution of the United States nor its requirements.
2. Rendering UNTO CAESAR means that you MUST vote. It is a mandate from the Lord Jesus Christ.
a. How you vote MUST line up with Biblical Divine Viewpoint
b. Since “as goes the believer, so goes the Nation” is a Biblically TRUE statement, even though the conditions of the parties, the leaders, the candidate, may be clouded, YOU MUST VOTE, pay taxes, etc.
c. You cannot abdicate your voting and take the position “if I vote for the best one (lesser of two evils) have I done a wrong thing? SO I just won’t vote?”
3. So, for whom do you vote?
a. Wait to see the candidates that are selected by the Parties.
b. Don’t vote for a socialist (Democrat candidates).
c. Don’t vote for an internationalist (Most Republican candidates – or those who support amnesty, or pulling out of Iraq irrationally) Remember, “the Nation that blesses Israel I will bless”, etc.
d. Don’t vote for a candidate who espouses BIG GOVERNMENT. These are the ones (many Republicans, ALL Democrats) that believe the Government should do everything for you, or who support the Corporate powers, or who want high taxation, or who use social issues as platforms. (Republican or Democrat).
e. Vote for a candidate who BEST lines up with the Biblical Principles above. For example a candidate:
i. Who supports Israel;
ii. Who supports the military and builds defense;
iii. Who is against any form of internationalism or socialistic concepts;
iv. Who places power and priority in the people;
v. Who is ANTI-ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION;
vi. Who is against Government sponsorship of redistribution of wealth;
vii. Who opposes the liberal agenda;
viii. WHO supports all 10 amendments of the Constitution to the letter. And, does not try to redefine its meaning out of context;
ix. Who is not self motivated, but adheres to principles outlined in our Constitution;
x. Who believes in the Constitution as it was applied when it was conceived;
xi. Who supports and promotes State’s Rights and puts the people first;
xii. Who is against a welfare State – who opposes surrendering freedom for so-called security;
xiii. Who is against giving social security benefits to illegal invading vagrants - violators of Federal Law;
xiv. Who seeks to protect national sovereignty and stop the illegal invasion of our Nation;
xv. Who is against Federal deficit spending;
xvi. Who is against a runaway budget and who seeks a reduction of debt;
xvii. Who seeks to get America off dependence on foreign sources of energy and fuel;
xviii. Who wants America to invest in America, and opposes shipping our industry and jobs overseas;
xix. Who wants to re-establish our industrial base;
xx. Who knows we should develop oil fields in America and “ignores the impact to the silver spotted newt or the mating habits of the Caribou or Moose”.
4. Who is NOT included as a target candidates:
a. The Democrat Party candidates
b. The Republican candidates who are on track against a majority of the 20 issues above in section 3. e.
Make Your Best Choice and VOTE ! Don’t worry that your non-republican vote may take numbers away from the more conservative Republicans. Don’t worry that your vote may allow Democrats to win because the Republicans may lose due to split tickets. Just vote BIBLICALLY and let Christ deal with the outcome. After all, don’t forget, HE controls history and nothing can happen that is NOT in HIS plan. If HE allows a thing to happen, IT IS FOR HIS REASON AND PURPOSE. Your, conscience is clean because you voted with reason, enlightenment and from a divine perspective.

Your Social Security
“Just in case some of you young whippersnappers (& some older ones) didn’t know this. It’s easy to check out, if you don’t believe it. Be sure and show it to your kids. They need a little history lesson on what’s what!! And it doesn’t matter whether you are Democrat of Republican. Facts are Facts!!!
Our Social Security
Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, introduced the Social
Security (FICA) Program. He promised:
1.) That participation in the Program would be
Completely voluntary,
2.) That the participants would only have to pay
1% of the first $1,400 of their annual
Incomes into the Program,
3.) That the money the participants elected to put
Into the Program would be deductible from
Their income for tax purposes each year,
4.) That the money the participants put into the
Independent “Trust Fund” rather than into the
General operating fund, and therefore, would
Only be used to fund the Social Security
Retirement Program, and no other
Government program, and,
5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees
Would never be taxed as income.
Since many of us have paid into FICA for years and are
Now receiving a Social Security check every month —
And then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of
The money we paid to the Federal government to “put
Away” — you may be interested in the following:

Even though they never paid a dime into it!

Then, after violating the original contract (FICA), the Democrats turn around and tell you that the Republicans want to take your Social Security away!
AND, the Republicans want to give social security benefits to illegal aliens, want open borders and a flood of illegals, have supported the international North American Union idea, supported the “super highway” and refuse to enforce immigration law and stop the invasion; who disdain the idea that Russia is alive and well and is our enemy along with China which now holds 90 percent of American debt, 900 billion in American Company stocks and bonds as well as corporate farms; and China provides nearly ALL of our industry, products and food and has struck an alliance with Russia and Iran. Russia has now started a new nuclear arms race – so America is almost ready for the fork – we will be done soon unless big changes occur primarily with the Believers in Christ. 2 Chronicles 7.14
And the worst part about it is uninformed believers!!!
AND, THE ENTIRE CONGRESS (ALL 535) GIVES THEMSELVES 100% RETIREMENT AND HEALTH BENEFITS FOR LIFE AFTER SERVING ONLY ONE TERM!!!” And they get to “choose” from some 50 different retirement and health care Packages.
