I was surprised there was no question in the Calculator that discussed American Oil Dependence other than Alaskan Oil drilling.

A key driving cause for American foreign policy, current economic issues, and some domestic issues is our Oil Dependence.

In fact, America is addicted to oil. It is the common root cause of many of your policy questions in the Calculator. But there is nothing that really addresses how to beat this Oil Dependence.

We need to go to war against our Oil Dependence. We have a war on Drugs. We have a war on Terror. We need to muster our resources to fight our dependence on oil. And this is a war we can win! We have the technology to defeat the need for oil, which in turn will spur the American economy. We need recognize the need. We need a leader who will use the Presidency to lead the US and the world in this critical challenge, before its too late. This is not about oil drilling in Alaska or anywhere else.
