A stable government must be in place before we exit Iraq, or every soldier we've lost there will have died in vain. But for us to fight each other here at home is doing no one any good at all, in this time of war, we need to present a united front to our enemies, to do otherwise only encourages them. I think by now most Americans want to be out of Iraq, but many of us know to leave the job unfinished would be a disaster. A stable government must be in place before we exit Iraq, or every soldier we’ve lost there will have died in vain. But for us to fight each other here at home is doing no one any good at all, in this time of war, we need to present a united front to our enemies, to do otherwise only encourages them.

We wanted out of evey war in which we have ever been involved.... the question is do you want to accomplish the mission or just quit? Those who use terms like un-winnable etc. are simply applying the "Vietnam treatment" to this war, if you undermine the mission, spread the negative propaganda and surpress the news of poitive and meaningful accomplishments then you control what people think and, as one after another of them turn from a position supporting to one of questioning and then to one not only opposing but also mouthing the media's anti-America message then they turn the tide... we doubt ourselves, forget our noble intentions.... and the enemy wins! What you are hearing about Iraq, our failures and our failings as a country, is not the truth, it's just a the echo of a lie from decades past.... still a lie, no matter how many times you hear it! Our soldiers wear hearing protection in battle, we need the same! It's just a shame that they may have to were earplugs when they listen to liars and quitters in America!
